Details About Exhibition

Neo-impressionist painting with dots of pure color with the aim to increase the brilliance of color and invoke optical color mixing. Called pointillism in the past as an insult to the artists who painted with these small dots today the term has lost its sting with masters like Seurat, Van Gogh and Monet. See ocular science at work as you draw near and far from the paintings to observe the effect.
